CRG Construction is a locally owned company focusing on building low country custom designed homes, paying close attention to details. Many of the homes built by CRG Construction will have custom cabinets, different types of hardwood flooring, upgraded trim, exposed rafters, etc… We focus on creating homes that bring back architectural details from years ago. Many of these details have been lost over the years because so many builders worry about keeping the cost down which in turns keeps the quality down. Many of the homes built in historical areas throughout the low country still stand today, after 100's of years. We feel the homes we design and build will forever be timeless, taking inspirations from homes found throughout many of the historic communities in South Carolina.

At CRG Construction, we are starting to focus more and more on Green construction. I have been to several green construction classes and will be taking the a class so I can receive my Green Home Builder certification. I also try to attend at least one Green Building Expo each year. We try to use Rinnai tankless hot water heaters, low E windows, minimum r-15 and r-38 insulation, GP Greenguard drywall, solar powered attic fans, low flow toilets, stand and seam metal roofs, etc... We are continuing to expand our knowledge of Green construction, and will be attending many Green construction classes and seminars in the future. With rising energy costs, Green construction is an option that many people building should explore when building a new home.

Preston E. Guyton - A native to the area, Preston grew up in Socastee, SC just south of Myrtle Beach. Preston has been selling real estate since 2002, and has dealt with all types of property. Preston has also been building homes since 2004. While going to College of Charleston he was always intrigued by the designs found in downtown historic Charleston.
