In 2011 there have been 36 oceanfront homes that have sold along the Grand Strand. These oceanfront homes have ranged in price from $440,000-$2,450,000. Most of the oceanfront homes that have sold in 2011 were vacation rentals in Garden City Beach and Surfside Beach. This area continues to be a great area to own vacation rentals that will generate great rental income throughout the year.
The most expensive home that sold in 2011 sold for $2,450,000 in Debordieu just south of Pawleys Island. Debordieu is a gated community with a private golf and tennis club featuring many oceanfront and waterfront properties.
