There are many investment and development opportunities throughout the Myrtle Beach area, but the key to successful investing is deciding which property to choose. I will be listing a couple properties in the next few months that offer fantastic land opportunities for an investor, or developer.
The first property is 144 acres off 701 north outside of Conway and near Loris. This area is starting to see a steady increase in developed properties. This property is zoned FA, and has been used as a tobacco farm. This is a great opportunity to buy land in the Myrtle Beach area , less than 30-45 minutes from area beaches. This property will be listed for $16,000 an acre, or $2,200,000. Once I list this property I will have more details available.

The second property is almost 18 acres just off Highway 501 in Myrtle Beach. This property could not be in a better location, with Highway 31 and 501 within 200 yards from this property. This property is less than 2 miles from the Hard Rock Theme Park scheduled to open in May 2008. This would be a good location for apartments, condos, etc... This property is only several miles away from the beaches, Coastal Grand Mall, Myrtle Beach Airport, Broadway at the Beaach, etc... This property will be listed for $125,000-$150,000 an acre, depending on how far into the rezoning process the current owner goes.
The third property is in Murrells Inlet and offers another great opportunity for an investor or developer. This property is about 13 acres and is full of mature live oaks, Magnolias, and other hardwoods. The current property zoning will allow for 31 residential lots, each lot would be at least 1/3 acre. This property is less than a mile from the Wacca Wachee Marina public boat landing and the public boat landing on Murrells Inlet. If you are not familiar with the Murrells Inlet area, this area has seen a lot of growth over the last few years. Murrells Inlet recently built a new hospital, medical offices, grocery store, post office, etc... This property will be listed for $150,000 an acre. Comparable lots in Murrells Inlet sell for over $120,000. This property is in a great area and could be considered one of the fastest growing areas along the Grand Strand.
